Why Does The Radio Station Choice Go To The Back Seat Driver?

I am sitting in my car reving up the engine, setting the mirrors to my height and adjusting the driver’s seat ready to go where I need to go.  I find my Hot Mom Sunglasses in the no scratch sunglass case that scream “You don’t know who I am, but I’m sexy.”   I adjust the seatbelt not to wrinkle my top and blast the air conditioning for this wonderful summer weather to an artic temperature to avoid any of the make-up meltdown.  I spray the facial water extinguisher to set all my facial make-up in place.  I am good to go.  Yes.  O.K., I back out of the driveway and I am ready to cruise in my vehicle any where I want to go.  I’m kicking back and relaxing, traffic is steadily accident free and catching all the green lights to-go. 

Just before I start to day dream of … I suddenly hear, OMG!  Mom, what the heck are you listening to?  I know the music is cool.  I hear it on my radio station all the time and once in awhile I catch a glimpse of my music video on the television when the remote is in mach one channel changing mode.  I calmly ask “Did you say something sweetie?”  As the overaged teenager leans towards me in on my better side and says “Can you please change the radio station to “I’m in the car now I want it my way station?”  Well, to avoid any argument while driving to where I am going, I calmly change the radio station to the “hip-hop wrap it up be-bop radio station.”  I’m thinking all is good for now and nothing else is needed. 
                               
Again, I hear “Mom, can you please turn up the radio station?  I can’t hear it.”  I am thinking what the heck if I don’t get my ear mufflers on, I’m going to stop the car and scream.  But, of course, I raise the volume level to the ear doctor’s warning for a hearing visit.  I know the music is playing, but I just can’t understand the lyrics.  You got to give it to those minor back seat driver’s or the car trip could be either the silent treatment or how uncool is Mom and that just cannot happen in my vehicle.

Why Is MUSIC So Much A Part Of A Persons Life In Day-To-Day Living?

Is it habit to listen to music?

1. Is it because you are a musician, a writer, a producer, a listener and want to stay in the main stream of music?
2. What is it you enjoy most about music and lyrics?

3. Play the party music, the dinner music or the romantic music?  Which one is it today?

4. Just remember... to play .... the CD, the IPOD, the radio, the headset, the MP3, or the phone, or the sunglasses with the side radio, your computer or all around sound...

5. Did you forget to buy that CD with the greatest song in the world for this week?

6. Do you relate to the lyrics of the song reminding you of times current or past you want to remember of forget very fast? 

7. Or does music let you escape the moments of the drabby day you are having? 

8. Rebel with the loudest hard rock song to irritate someone?

9. Oh heck, just sing it with the wrong words... that'll irritate the serious listener...

10. They usually tell you to shut up or take it outside... you know how to ruin a song,

11. I heard that so many times when I was little... umpteen decades ago...

12. Or playing the music loud in the car so all the vehicles at the stop light get the sound and know
13. What radio station you are listening to or the CD in the system?
14. You don't care, you are just moving your hands, shoulders and head, bobbing back and forth or
15. Side to side with your foot pressing the breaks off and on?  
16. Even in church you sing and listen to music, sometimes it makes you change your attitude, like lose your horns, or , your thoughts are purer, unless the person next to you keeps bumping you or be a better person, if you are not an angel already...
17. There are so many good side affects with music and lyrics,
18. If I don't listen to music three times a day with two small intermittent moments, I get withdrawals...
19. Does that fix my carbs?
20. Can music be prescribed as a prescription?  Is that allowed in anger management?
21. For the stressed individual or mad misunderstood person or the starving time monger...
22. I know I can go to the my Spa Inspiration and everyone is in my way, taking to long to change, drinking water to long, chewing gum the wrong way, sipping my coffee or just too many people in the building, or etc... 
23. After I have had my time, my turn, my response is ... Oh please, take your time getting that water or using the ladies room.  I'm done.
24. I feel good I just listened to "Let yourself go and say whatever you want for lyrics for 3 minutes intervals from the natural and aquatics series" and I'm refreshed like a Flower Celebration or a Pastel MOM or a Sunflower Ribbon.
25. Need a jingle, quick on the computer, scour the laptop, da-da-da..., could it be a commercial local or far... or some place from a  bar ...       

            Who knows?  Who cares?  Is that the way you get your money, a threat?... because you can?..
    
    

      As long as there are great musicians singing that perfect lyrics... they have my attention when they are singing.         

     

    Last November, 2007? with a threat to give a commercial jingle, to have a tall  long black hair female tell me she's going to search  me ?...for  what?  You know who you are... you are not going to get the royalties... it just proves something stronger...  da- da- da- da- da- da- da - da with a tune, sitting on the floor with a laptop
